END OF THE ROAD: ALASKA

Denali National Park is one of the last ski touring and climbing frontiers. It is only accessible on a plane that lands on an airstrip in the upper bowl of the glacier. The skiing immediately around camp is mind-bending, especially in the Spring.

Great touring to be had dropping off the Pika from the north and down one of the 1500' couloirs to the Granite Glacier, or skiing up the southwest lobe and into the Crown Glacier.

HIKE. SKI. SLEEP. REPEAT.

Wilderness awaits.

Fully guided backcountry ski trip on the Pika glacier situated in the Denali National Park, Alaska.

A ski-equipped airplane will fly you into the park and land on a glacier.

On the glacier, the guides will be awaiting you with a complete base camp for five days/four nights on the glacier.

Ski-touring experience and an adventure attitude are required for the success of the expedition.

GET USED TO IT

It's a week of survival.

PowerBar in the snow

In the snowy wilderness camp, meals are simple yet essential—power bars, dried snacks, and freeze-dried meals become your staples.

The cold and physical exertion make these high-energy foods a necessity, fueling you for the long days ahead. Though it’s far from gourmet, there’s a certain satisfaction in sharing these quick, no-fuss meals with fellow adventurers.

Over the week, you’ll adapt to the routine, embracing the simplicity and focus on survival, while the stunning surroundings and camaraderie make up for the lack of variety in your food.
